"He put a new song in my mouth, A hymn of praise to my God.
Many will see...and put their trust in the Lord." Psalm 40:3
Here is a site where people can gather together in their desire to share the love of Jesus. Inspired by a Christmas song, "Who Needs To Know?", written by Mary Latona and sung by Jim Dunmire, this has blossomed into a ministry with a DVD of the same song, to encourage people to reach out to others with the love of Jesus. As we find ourselves in "these final days", there is no better time than now to ask yourself, "who needs to know, and who needs to hear" the good news of the saving grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Who Needs To Believe?

Parts of the following are excerpts from Campus Crusade for Christ Int’l. If you would like more detailed information, please log on to their website: www.ccci.org/how-to-know-god

Even before you were conceived, God knew you, and loved you by sending His Son to die for you.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” - John 3:16

You are no accident. He has a plan for your life, and a purpose.

“I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” - John 10:10

But why might you not be experiencing an abundant life?

Because all of us sin, and we are separated from God, who is holy.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” - Romans 3:23
“For the wages of sin is death.” - Romans 6:23

The only way that we can be united with God is through His Son Jesus Christ. He died in our place.

“God demonstrates His own love for us in this:
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” - Romans 5:8

And He rose from the dead.

“Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
…He was buried, (and)…He was raised on the third day
according to the Scriptures” - 1 Corinthians 15:3-6

He is the only way to God.

“I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life;
No one comes to the Father, but through Me.” - John 14:6

However, it is not enough to just know these things,
for even Satan knows them.

We must receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

“Yet to all who receive Him, to those who believe in His name,
He gave the right to become children of God” - John 1:12

And we must receive Him through faith.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from
Yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that
No one can boast.” - Ephesians 2:8-9

As a result we experience a new birth, and we receive Christ by personal invitation.

“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock.
If anyone hears my voice and opens the door,
I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me.” - Revelation 3:20

We need to turn to God from our selves and trust Christ to come into our lives and have His way in us. Just agreeing intellectually is not enough. Nor is having an emotional experience enough. You receive Christ by faith.

So now, how can you receive Christ?

By prayer. God sees your heart and knows if you are sincere. Here is a suggested prayer:

LORD Jesus, I need You.
Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins.
I open the door of my life and receive You
As my Savior and LORD.
Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life.
Take control of the throne of my life.
Make me the kind of person You want me to be.

If you have prayed this prayer, and truly meant it, then you have just received Jesus as your Savior and Lord! Your name has been written in the Book of life! Now, when you die, you will be with Him and live with Him for ever!

Now, you must share your New Life with someone!

“Whoever acknowledges Me before men, I will also
Acknowledge him before My Father in heaven.”
Matthew 10:32
