"He put a new song in my mouth, A hymn of praise to my God.
Many will see...and put their trust in the Lord." Psalm 40:3
Here is a site where people can gather together in their desire to share the love of Jesus. Inspired by a Christmas song, "Who Needs To Know?", written by Mary Latona and sung by Jim Dunmire, this has blossomed into a ministry with a DVD of the same song, to encourage people to reach out to others with the love of Jesus. As we find ourselves in "these final days", there is no better time than now to ask yourself, "who needs to know, and who needs to hear" the good news of the saving grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Rapture

Why the Interest in the Rapture?
The atmosphere in the world is changing rapidly, and people are becoming aware of it. Morality is declining, families are disintegrating, children are being raised in one parent homes, and government is making rules to prohibit people from praying and mentioning God in public places and events. Babies are killed in their mothers’ womb, and laws are being made to reinforce practices that contradict the Bible. There is an inclusive phenomena where everything is acceptable for fear of discriminating others. There is no longer a one God belief, contrary to our nation’s founding fathers’ declaration of “one nation under God”, but a growing trend towards a one world religion. Many churches have fewer attendance than ever before, and even people who claim to be Christians are living lifestyles that contradict the very Bible they say they believe in! All over the world Christians are being persecuted and killed for their faith in Jesus Christ. Even in nature, more and more devastating storms, drought and earthquakes, are claiming lives. The weather patterns are changing, making the growth of food difficult, and in some places impossible, resulting in the scarcity of food, and increasing food prices. Nations are angry towards each other, and terrorists are becoming a threat to everyone. More and more focus is being made on the tiny nation of Israel, and the Temple Mount. She has an increasing number of enemies who want her destroyed, and tension is mounting up everyday. We are living in a chaotic world! Something is about to happen!

The Bible has a lot to say about the time that we are in, that is, “the last days”. Even the Blood Moon Tetrad is sparking interest, as we are told they signify God’s warning to the world and to Israel for their disobedience and defiance. Prophecies are being fulfilled, and amazingly right to the letter!

The problems that have been described are all a result of sin, which began in the beginning, when the devil tempted Eve to disobey God in the Garden of Eden. Ever since then, sin has separated man from God, as God is holy and cannot look on sin. But God’s love for man, who is created in His own image, has never changed. He made a way to rescue us from the clutches of the devil. He gave His Son.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
- John 3:16

Jesus’ death of the cross paid the price for mankind’s sin, and His resurrection defeated Satan and death. After His ascension, He gave the Holy Spirit to guide people to faith in Him, resulting in the Church Age. At any moment, all true believers, both dead and alive, will be called to join Him in the clouds. After that, Jesus and His Saints that have been with Him, will come down again to defeat Satan forever. A new heaven and earth will be established where He will reign as King of kings and Lord of lords!

Let’s see what Jesus told His disciples will happen.

What is the Rapture?
The rapture is an event that will take place when Jesus calls the Church, who are His true believers, to meet Him in the air. The Church will return to His Father’s house as His Bride, having been transformed into glorified, incorruptible, eternal bodies.

The Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout,
and the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.
And the dead in Christ will rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up
together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
- 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

Behold, I tell you a mystery.
We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed
in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.
For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption,
and this mortal must put on immortality.
- 1 Corinthians 15:51-53

For our citizenship is in heaven,
from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to
His glorious Body, according to the working by which
He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.
- Philippians 3:20-21

Who will be Raptured?
Only believers in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will be raptured, both those who have already died and those who are alive at that time.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again,
even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
- 1 Thessalonians 4:14

Let not your heart be troubled;
You believe in God, believe also in Me (Jesus).
In My Father’s house are many mansions;
if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come again and receive you to Myself;
that where I am, there you may be also.
- John 14:1-3

A believer is a person who not only knows about God - the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, but also knows Him personally and intimately. Following religious practices isn’t enough. It is necessary to know and love God in one’s heart, soul, mind and strength. There will be people who thought they would be raptured, but instead will be left behind.

Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be
counted worthy to escape these things (the Great Tribulation)
that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man (Jesus).
- Luke 21:36

It is important to realize that Jesus saves us through His grace, and not from our works. We don’t have to do anything to make ourselves worthy, outside of praying for salvation.

For by grace you have been saved through faith,
and not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
not of works, lest anyone should boast.
- Ephesians 2:8-9

For God did not appoint us to wrath,
but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep,
we should live together with Him.
- 1 Thessalonians5:9-10

But God demonstrates His own love toward us,
in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Much more then, having now been justified by His blood,
We shall be saved from wrath through Him.
- Romans 5:8-9

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved!

Where will the Rapture take place?
In the clouds! Not on the earth or in heaven, but in the clouds…in the sky!

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven
with a shout, with the voice of an archangel,
and with the trumpet of God.
And the dead in Christ will rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain
shall be caught up together with them
in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
- 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

When will the Rapture take place?
No one knows for sure! Even Jesus said that only His Father in heaven knew. But we can know the season.

But of that day and hour no one knows,
not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
For as the days of Noah were,
so also will be the coming of the Son of Man be.
For as in the days before the flood,
they were eating and drinking,
marrying and giving in marriage,
until the day that Noah entered the ark,
and did not know until the flood came
and took them all away.
So also will be the coming of the Son of Man be.
Then two men will be in the field:
one will be taken and the other left.
Two women will be grinding at the mill:
one will be taken and the other left.
Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour
your Lord is coming.
Therefore, you also be ready,
for the Son of Man is coming at an hour
you do not expect.
- Matthew 24:36-42,44

Jesus told us the signs of the times.

Take heed that you do not be deceived.
For many will come in My Name, saying,
“I am He,” and “The time has drawn near.”
Therefore, do not go after them.
But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified:
For these things must come to pass first,
but the end will not come immediately.
Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
And there will be great earthquakes
in various places, and famines and pestilences;
And there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.
But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies,
then know that its desolation is near.
All these things are the beginning of sorrows.
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be
preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations,
and then the end will come.
- Luke 21:8-11,20-21,Matthew 24:8,14

Concerning the times and the seasons, brethren,…
You yourselves know perfectly that
the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.
For when they say, “Peace and safety!”
then sudden destruction comes upon them,
as labor pains upon a pregnant woman.
And they shall not escape.
But you, brethren, are not in darkness,
so that the Day should overtake you as a thief.
You are all sons of light and sons of the day.
We are not of the night nor of the darkness.
Therefore, let us not sleep, as others do,
but let us watch and be sober….
Let us who are of the day be sober,
putting on the breastplate of faith and love,
and as a helmet the hope of salvation.
For God did not appoint us to wrath,
but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep,
we should live together with Him.
- 1 Thessalonians 5:1-10

Jesus leaves us with this:

Behold, I am coming quickly!
Blessed is he who keeps the words
of the prophecy of this Book.
Revelation 22:7
